Swede Lift AB was founded in 1991 by Bengt Stage. The company was then called Carinstallations in Staffanstorp AB.
Manufacture of lifts were made parallel with the adaptation of cars for the disabled. Both businesses grew so much that the company split in two. Car Adjustments in a new company and elevators in a new (Swede Lift AB) company.
The division took place in year 2000 and both companies have continued strong growth.
Bengt Stage has since the mid-80's worked in activities related to the lifts and disabled.
Swede Lift delivered Step On lifts from Skåne to as far north as there are people living in Sweden. Northern Finland at the Russian border, the port of Dublin is another example.
